- CFMoto to unveil two 400cc motorcycles and a 300cc fully faired motorcycle at the 2020 Auto Expo.
- The fully faired motorcycle is based on the 300NK.
- These motorcycles will come to our shores via the CKD route.
At the sidelines of the launch event, CFMoto officials have confirmed that they will unveil three new motorcycles (400NK, 400GT and the 300SR) at the upcoming Auto Expo. Along with these new models, the Chinese bike maker will also launch BS6-compliant variants of the recently launched 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and the 650GT.
Speaking of the upcoming motorcycles, the 400GT and the 400NK will sport the same design philosophy as the 650NK and the 650GT. Not just the design, expect the same features list such as the all-LED lighting system and digital instrument cluster to trickle down from the 650cc models to the 400cc variants.
Both motorcycles share the same twin-cylinder 400cc engine, which is likely to churn out around 41PS and 34Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed unit. As seen on their bigger cousins, the 400NK and the 400GT are equipped with a telescopic fork and a monoshock at the rear (both from KYB). Braking hardware includes twin discs up front and a single disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS offered as a standard fitment.

The 300SR, on the other hand, will be CFMoto’s first fully faired 300cc motorcycle. While the design will be based on the 250SR, the mechanical components are likely to be similar to that of the 300NK. Powering the upcoming fully faired motorcycle will be the same 292.4cc liquid-cooled engine that is seen on the 300NK. This motor puts out 28PS and 25Nm of torque and works in conjunction with a 6-speed gearbox.
These motorcycles will come to our shores via the CKD route and will be assembled at CFMoto’s Bengaluru facility. As far as pricing is concerned, we are pretty sure that the company will launch these motorcycles at a very competitive price range, just like it did with its other motorcycles. We expect the CFMoto 300SR to be priced around the Rs 2.50 to 2.80 lakh mark, and the 400 twins from Rs 3.0 lakh to Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
