The Xiaosheng Tactus V-twin cruiser is set to launch in China soon

Xiaosheng, a joint venture brand of Qingqi-Hyosung, is all set to launch its new Tactus V-twin cruiser in the Chinese domestic market. Moreover, the 250cc cruiser has been announced with 10 colour schemes.

The Tactus employs retro styling with a low-slung seat, muscular fuel tank, rounded headlights and rear view mirrors. It comes in a wide range of vibrant colour schemes that include monotone and dual-tone colours as well as graphics.

The cruiser is powered by a 249cc V-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 26.9PS. It is slightly on the heavier side, tipping the scales at 180kg, the same as the Keeway K-Light 250V which produces a measly 18.9PS!

Underpinnings on the Tactus include a USD fork and twin shock absorbers with braking duties handled by discs at both ends. The cruiser comes with ABS as standard. It gets a 17-inch wheel up front and a 16-incher at the rear.

More details and pricing of the motorcycle haven't been revealed yet, and sadly, it will not be heading to our shores anytime soon. However, it would have made the perfect alternative to the Keeway K-Light 250V. Meanwhile, those looking for cruiser motorcycles in India can also check out the Bajaj Avenger Street 160 and Avenger Cruise 220.
