Dhoom 3 Teaser: What It has For the Bikers

The most awaited teaser of the year, Dhoom 3 has finally released today. Where one side Aamir Khan's Fan club was waiting for a single shot of the movie, motorcycle enthusiasts of the country were waiting for the teaser to get to see the exciting motorbike action sequences. Superbikes and action are the main theme of Dhoom series, and the upcoming movie won't lack any of these. This time, German BMW Bikes have replaced the Japanese Suzuki Superbikes used in the first and second edition of the franchise.
You can capture 2 BMW bikes in the teaser, one is BMW K1300R rode by Amir Khan and the second one is BMW S1000RR rode by Uday Chopra. Both the bikes are looking amazing in the teaser and are used well in the action scenes.
You call it Aamir Khan's effect on Dhoom series or better technology and cinematography, but every stunt which was shot is perfect, clean and realistically awesome. There might be more bikes used in the movie and we can say it in advance that they will be definitely BMW Motorrad bikes. Let's know a few things about these bikes.
BMW K1300R is a naked super roadster powered by a 1,293cc, water-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line four cylinder engine with two over head camshafts and four valves per cylinder. This advanced mill churns a power of 173bhp at 9,250rpm and delivers a peak torque of 140Nm at 8,250rpm. The bike gives an aggressive macho feel and goes to a maximum speed over 200kmph. The bike weighs 217kgs and equipped with all the safety features like- dual front disk brakes, rear disk brakes, anti-lock braking system (ABS), traction control etc. In a test conducted by the Bike magazine in the UK, BMW K1300R was the fastest 0-100kmph muscle bike at 2.81 seconds, beating its closest competitor Suzuki B-King.
BMW S1000RR is a super sport bike that churns a power of 193bhp at 13,000rpm from a 999cc engine. This is a water/oil-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line four cylinder mill, which uses dual overhead camshafts with four titanium valves per cylinder. It delivers a maximum torque of 112Nm at 9,750rpm and can touch the speed over 200kmph. The bike weighs 178kgs and is equipped with all the advanced racing technologies.
