Earth Energy, a Mumbai-based startup, is the newest player in the electric mobility scene in India and will be launching its lineup of commercial and non-commercial products on February 3. Last week, we reported that the brand has teased some of its upcoming products.
Though the brand hasn’t revealed any details yet, it has teased the scooter on its social media handles with the tag “Coming soon.” Going by the image, the e-scooter seems to be on the sportier side and could take on the likes of the Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube Electric. We aren’t sure if the Earth Energy EV could match the Ather 450 but if it does, wouldn’t it make things more interesting?
Earth Energy will also unveil an electric cruiser, which, as of now, is a unique product in the market. For people who are into cruisers, this bike could offer a fresh alternative to the Bajaj Avenger 160 Street and the Suzuki Intruder.
The brand already has two e-cooters listed, the Glyde and Kruze, both offering a claimed 105km range. The upcoming models are likely to have a similar range.
Earth Energy may be unheard of, but it has been developing products since 2017. The company has raised its first round of seed funding and has been testing its upcoming products in real-world conditions for the last 2.5 years.
