Erik Buell Racing (EBR) of the US, the partner of India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, who helps the domestic company with the technology and design of the bike, has introduced EBR 1190RX, a whole new high-end machine at the American International Motorcycle Exposition (AIMExpo) in Orlando. The price of the machine is quite an attractive element as 1190RX is being offered at (MSRP) of Rs. 11,31,627.
The new entrant is a street-legal high performance motorcycle that boasts the genes of the limited edition of 1190RS, a super bike. Besides, EBR 1190RX also brings features that makes the rider's experience more pleasant and lively. The kerb weight of the bike is just 190kg and with the ET-V2 1190cc V-Twin engine it generates the maximum power of 185bhp and peak torque of 138Nm. The bike is extremely aggressive and raging in terms of looks and power.
The rider can feel the punch and power in every single transmission and with the 21 traction control setting, there are mere chances for the rider to loose control. With ultimate torque values, the manufacturer claims a mileage of around 14kmpl. Less than 25% of the hydrocarbons and nitrous oxide exhaust emissions are produced by the 1190RX than those allowed by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards. Similarly, Carbon monoxide emissions are 6% of the level allowed by U.S. federal regulations.
The company has equipped the machine with the best of its innovation and has made it an inevitable bike that cannot be beaten in terms of performance and drivability by any other superbike manufactured by any company from across the world. The bike sports multi-functional digital instrumentation that enables rider to set its performance parameters just like traction control, track performance data, service intervals and system diagnostics.
