A few weeks back, we had reported that the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc has started reaching dealerships. Now, we have got our hands on the price list. The Bajaj BS6 Pulsar 150 is priced at Rs 96,563 (ex-showroom Pune), which is Rs 11,000 more than the BS4 Pulsar 150. Bookings for the BS6 Pulsar 150 have commenced in select dealerships across the country for a token amount of Rs 1,500.
What additional features do you get for the extra Rs 6,726? Nothing much. There’s new decals and the side panels now get a carbon fibre finish. Apart from this, the BS6 Pulsar 150 looks exactly the same as the older model.
There’s no confirmation from Bajaj Auto or our dealer sources about the power and torque figures of the new Pulsar 150. So we expect the new BS6-compliant 150cc motor to have a slightly different power output compared to the BS4 model’s figures (14PS and 13.4Nm).
In terms of underpinnings, the BS6-compliant Pulsar 150 remains identical to the older model. So it continues to use a telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking hardware consists of disc brakes at both ends with single-channel ABS offered as standard.
The Pulsar 150 is not the only motorcycle that’s getting the BS6 treatment as the updated NS200 has been spotted. There are rumours about the updated Pulsar 220 as well. So stay tuned to BikeDekho for more updates.
