Loses the semi-fairing and becomes nearly Rs 10,000 cheaper
Many models in Bajaj’s Pulsar lineup have soldiered on nearly unchanged for years on end, but the Pulsar 180 has had a slightly more eventful history. It’s been part of the Pulsar range right since the lineup’s inception back in 2001, and in that time, has seen facelifts, gone from wire-spoke wheels to alloy wheels, and even gained a semi-fairing with the Pulsar 180F.
Now, the semi-fairing has been ditched once more to rebirth the naked Pulsar 180. As a result, Bajaj has also been able to slash prices by nearly Rs 10,000: the naked 180 is priced at Rs 1,04,768 while the 180F costs Rs 1,1,4,003. Aside from this, the bike remains unchanged. So it is still powered by a BS6-compliant air-cooled single-cylinder 178.6cc mill that pumps out 17PS at 8,500rpm and 14.22Nm at 6,500rpm.
The only other major change is to the kerb weight, which is down by 10kg to 145kg, thanks to the removal of the Pulsar 220-inspired semi-fairing. If the naked Pulsar 180 invokes nostalgia within you and you’d like to get your hands on one, the good news is the bike has already arrived at multiple Bajaj dealerships across the country, and bookings are open.
