The single-channel variant of the N160 has been discontinued due to lack of demand and now the bike comes with dual channel ABS as standard

Our dealer sources have confirmed that the Bajaj Pulsar N160 single-channel ABS variant has been discontinued. The variant was phased out a few months ago, and the bike is now only available with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The Bajaj Pulsar N160 was launched last year in two variants: a single-channel ABS variant at a price of Rs 1,22,854 and a dual-channel ABS variant with a price tag of Rs 1,27,853, ex-showroom. The price difference between the two variants comes down to Rs 5000, which is not a big amount for the step-up in safety.

And given the fact that safety is a major concern for most riders these days, not many seem to have bought the single-channel ABS variant to save Rs 5000 and instead opted to go for the dual-channel ABS variant, according to our dealer sources. This lack of demand seems to be the reason why the single-channel ABS variant is discontinued.

The Pulsar N160 now costs Rs 1,30,560 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is offered in 3 colour schemes: Brooklyn Black, Caribbean Blue and Racing Red, all of which cost the same amount.

BREAKING: Bajaj Pulsar N160 Launched

The bike is powered by a 164.82cc, single-cylinder, air and oil cooled engine that outputs 16PS and 14.65Nm. It is based on the same platform as the Bajaj Pulsar N250 and gets a lot of similar features. The N160 rivals other motorcycles in the 150-160cc segment like the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, Yamaha FZ-S Fi V3.0, Suzuki Gixxer, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
