The ADV will be unveiled at the Rider Mania 2022
For years now, Royal Enfield enthusiasts have been waiting for a twin-cylinder Himalayan. While that dream hasn’t come to fruition officially, Pune-based custom house Auto Engina has something close in store for us.
Auto Engina is developing the world’s first parallel-twin 822cc Himalayan. This will be achieved by putting two of the Himalayan’s 410LS mills together. Auto Engina has already built a custom engine crankcase for the mill, however, more information on the powertrain will be disclosed soon.
The Himalayan’s 410LS engine currently produces 24.6PS and 32Nm, but two mills put together should result in much more power. The custom house is expecting the engine to produce over 45PS with the rev range exceeding the standard Himalayan’s 6500rpm mark. That said, the exact performance figures are something left to be seen.

Auto Engina will be working with Autologue Designs for the design of this parallel-twin ADV. The custom house plans to get the bike running by November this year to unveil it at the Royal Enfield Rider Mania 2022.
Other than that, Royal Enfield themselves are working on a bigger 450cc liquid-cooled engine-powered Himalayan 450 LC, which is expected to be quite a departure from their general motorcycles.
