The instrument cluster is a massive single pod unit!
Another day and another test mule of an upcoming Royal Enfield Bike has been spied, this time it is the Himalayan 450 LC yet again. The veteran bkemaker has been synonymous with retro and old school for far too long. However, that is soon to change with the introduction of the 450cc platform.
The most crucial piece of information from the new spy images has to be the massive single pod circular instrument console. Unlike the current gen Himalayan which gets multiple smaller gauges, the 450 houses one big console that looks like a LCD unit.

The hardware on the upcoming ADV is a much deserved upgrade too. A liquid-cooled-engine, first for Enfield. Double-cradle frame with a bolt-on subframe, another first. It also runs on a premium suspension setup – USD fork (seemingly from Showa, as per the spy shots) and monoshock. Head here for more details on the ADV.
It is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2023 with an expected price tag of Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom). It will go up against the likes of KTM 390 Adventure and the upcoming Hero 450 ADV.
