Recently, Bajaj Pulsar achieved a big milestone clocking over 5 million units in sales ever since its launch. When Bajaj Pulsar was introduced in nation, there was not a single two-wheeler in the 180cc segment. Bajaj Auto group made a strong move of launching 180cc bike in Indian motorcycle segment. Bajaj India also launched Pulsar 150cc variant as a cheaper model, which turned out to be the big seller for the company in India.
In fact, Pulsar is the only performance bike which has got the most number of facelifts and the regular refreshes have been the biggest factors for the continuity of the Pulsar range of bikes in India. Another important reason behind huge success of Pulsar brand is that Bajaj has always been offering value for money bikes. Additionally, the continuous improvements and reliability level also come together to make the Pulsar brand a success of its times.
Moreover, Bajaj Auto India is all set to launch new range of Pulsar bikes in Indian motorcycle segment. Recently, the domestic auto giant unveiled the technologically advanced Pulsar 200 NS, which is soon going to sizzle on Indian streets. The 2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS will be launched at an attractive price of under Rs. 1 lakh, which further strengthen the fact of affordable performance of the brand. Despite of being a value for money, the upcoming bike Pulsar 200 NS will house a tri-spark plug technology. This will happen for the first time in world. The 200cc liquid cooling and a 4-valve head engine of the bike will deliver high performance and the better suspension (monoshock unit) of the motorcycle will further provide better handling.
