Harley-Davidson India is all set to launch four updated motorcycles in the country on 21st September. The bikes are being renovated under Harley-Davidson Dark Custom Initiative and have witnessed impressive makeovers in order to stay even more competitive and appealing.
The most affordable model from the manufacturer, Street 750 would now come with a new braking system. The bike was being criticized since a long time due to poor braking and with the integration of more responsive brakes, it might return better sales to the company. Iron 883 receives a new suspension system along with new wheels that are lightweight in comparison to the previous ones. Besides this, the bike gets improved seating that will eventually help in availing better ride comfort to the rider and pillion.
Harley Davidson Forty-Eight has also been revised and would show up new alloy wheels with a replaced tyre at the front. The 49mm forks have now been integrated to the front that would couple-up with improved adjustable rear suspension setup. Lastly, Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic has been fitted with a retuned High Output Twin Cam 103 engine in order to deliver improved all round performance. The bike also gets improved saddlebag architecture to support long distance touring.
Besides launching these four updated models, the American giant would also be relaunching its hyper cruiser - Road King that was discontinued few years back. The event can be seen as the biggest launch of the year by Harley and the bringing of these refreshed products will surely strengthen company’s reputation and popularity among its Indian fans and admirers.
