This custom Yamaha scooter looks rather polarising
The modification community is on the rise, and maxi scooters, apart from retro bikes, seem to be the new playzone. While some modifications create rather unique-looking products, some are not all that impressive. Such is the case with this Yamaha NMax 155, called the Predator Ferrari, built by an Indonesian custom house.
The custom Yamaha NMax 155 maxi-scooter looks like something for which you would need a double take just to comprehend its loud, bright and gaudy characteristics. Wrapped in a red Ferrari livery, the sleek-looking maxi-scooter is now more bulky and chunky; and if we’re being honest, not all that attractive.
It already featured LED lighting; however, the custom scooter gets a common LED strip lighting for turn indicators on the rear view mirrors and they are not even covered. The front gets a custom body kit attached to the fascia.

The sides are painted in Ferrari red, complemented with black graphics and the supercar manufacturer’s branding. The exhaust setup “flaunts” a bright red cover and it also gets a very commuter-looking back rest, which again, is painted in red.
Mechanically, the maxi-scooter remains unchanged and is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled engine producing 15.3PS and 13.9Nm. It is the same engine used on the Yamaha R15 and Aerox 155.
The Predator Ferrari NMax 155 commands a premium of around Rs 30,000 over the stock Yamaha NMax 155, which bears a price tag of IDR 31, 115,000, equivalent to around Rs 1.66 lakh. While the NMax is not available in India, you can check out the Yamaha Aerox 155 maxi-scooter available here.
