Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the much-anticipated Destini 125 on October 22
Recently, we came across spy shots of the Hero Destini 125 being tested on Indian roads. Soon, the ever-growing 125cc scooter segment is about to get a little more crowded with the launch of the Hero Destini 125 on October 22.
The new 125cc scooter, which was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo as the Duet 125, looks like a more mature version of the 110cc Duet thanks to the refreshed front end and chrome accents on the front apron and side panels. As is the case with recent 125cc scooters, the Destini 125 offers a semi-digital instrument cluster with a side stand indicator, service indicator and other basic readouts. It also gets other convenience-enhancing features such as a pass switch, a mobile charging port and an boot light.
As for the powertrain, the Destini 125 will share its 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine with the upcoming Hero Maestro 125. It is paired with a CVT and produces 8.7PS of power and 10.2Nm of torque and is the only one in its segment to feature Hero’s i3S start-stop technology. The scooter is equipped with telescopic front forks and a single hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. In terms of braking, the Hero Destini employs drum brakes at either ends which comes with
Expect the Destini 125 to be priced around Rs 54,000 (ex-showroom). When launched, the Hero Destini 125 will go up against the TVS NTorq, Honda Activa 125 and the Suzuki Access 125.
