Hero Honda Karizma ZMR to launch in India

The festival season is at hand in the country and the two-wheeler companies are ready to grab the most of the sales in the period. Recently, Yamaha launched its VMAX and other limited edition bikes in India. The leading two-wheeler company of the country, Hero Honda, is also preparing to launch its new bike in India. The company is planning to launch its Karizma ZMR in 2009-10. It means the bike will come in the market either in the end of the year 2009 or at the starting of the year 2010. This will be a fuel injection supported version of Karizma and the technology will be powered by Hero Honda's PGM-FI technology. As per the details received with us, the power machine will sports a 223cc engine. The power mill can produce a maximum of 21 bhp at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 21.5 Nm at 6500. The new model of bike will be priced around 10 to 15,000 more than the existing model. However, no official word is there in this regard.
