Hero MotoCorp has launched the Maestro Edge 125 and the new Pleasure Plus in India. The Maestro Edge 125 is available in three variants: FI, carb (disc) and carb (drum). While the FI variant is priced at Rs 62,000, the carb disc brake variant is priced at Rs 60,000 and the drum variant is priced at Rs 58,500. The new Pleasure Plus, on the other hand, is available in two variants: standard and alloy wheel. The standard variant is priced at Rs 47,000 and the alloy wheel variant is priced at Rs 49,300 (all ex-showroom Delhi).
The Maestro Edge 125 is powered by a 125cc engine which produces 8.8PS and 10.2Nm. Also, the engine is fuel injected, which makes the Maestro Edge 125 the first scooter in India to get this feature. The top-of-the-line scooter from Hero also gets an optional front disc. The Maestro Edge 125 will go up against the TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Access 125 and Honda Grazia.
The 2019 Pleasure Plus gets a host of cosmetic updates. It features a redesigned bodywork and an analogue instrument cluster. Powering the new Pleasure Plus is a 110cc engine which makes 8PS of power and 8.7Nm of torque. In terms of rivals, it goes up against the Honda Activa i and TVS Wego.
