Hero MotoCorp might Reveal two Performance Motorcycles and Scooters in Auto Expo 2016

India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp might unveil its two performance bikes HX250R and Hastur along with some updated motorcycles and new scooters in upcoming 2016 Auto Expo. These products are much anticipated in the company’s portfolio. Let’s put some light on the product that might be rolled out by the company in the 2016 Auto Expo.

Hero MotoCorp might launch its performance oriented naked streetfighter motorcycle in 2016 Auto Expo. Named as Hero Hastur, the bike is powered by 620cc, liquid cooled four stroke engine that will generate a maximum power of 71bhp and a peak torque of 68 Nm. The machine has a sporty look and it is expected to be priced around Rs. 3.5-Lacs.

Hero Leap is a new Hybrid scooter in the company’s portfolio that will be revealed in 2016 Auto Expo. It features a 124cc engine that is expected to develop power somewhere between 11.5 bhp and around 8Nm of net torque. It is expected to be priced at Rs. 70,000 – 90,000.

Hero ZIR is a brand new 150cc scooter and it might be showcased in the next year’s Auto Expo. It is expected to produce 13.75 bhp of power and 12Nm of torque, which is pretty amazing for a scooter. It is expected to be priced between Rs 65,000 to 75,000, if it does, it will create chaos in two-wheeler market.

With Hero HX250R, Hero MotoCorp has finally put its foot in the performance-oriented sports motorcycle segment. The bike is totally faired that makes it look edgy and sharp. The all new HX250R is propelled by a 249cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder engine that could develop 32 bhp of power and 25 Nm of torque. It may be priced somewhere between Rs 2.2 lac to 2.6 lac.

Passion Pro is the most victorious 100cc commuter motorcycle in the company’s portfolio and it seems that the company may unveil its updated version in the 2016 Auto Expo. The updated version might come with new graphics and features. Furthermore, it might also house the same engine configuration, which is four-stroke, air-cooled, 1-cylinder, OHC engine that belts out 8.24 bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. It might be priced between Rs 50,000 to 55,000.
