Covid-19 continues to be a roadblock for monthly two-wheeler sales
Like all the other brands out there, Hero MotorCorp too continues to struggle with its two-wheeler sales. From the data provided by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), none of the products from Hero’s portfolio have recorded better numbers in May when compared to that of April. But despite the tumbling sales, Hero still remains on top with respect to the overall sales volume.
Of the lot, it's the Hero Splendor Plus and Splendor iSmart to have raked in the maximum sales at 84,043 units, collectively. Meanwhile, the Hero HF Deluxe has managed to single-handedly sell 42,118 units.

The scooter range’s sales have also spiralled down with neither the Destini 125 nor the Maestro Edge range breaching even the 1,000-unit mark and will be a cause for worry for Hero.
Even with such hurdles, two models from Hero’s motorcycle range have made it to the top 5 highest-selling bikes in May. Moreover, the entire Hero MotoCorp lineup has received a price hike which will be applicable from July 1, 2021. How much more will you have to shell out?
