Gets a host of segment first features like LED headlight and bluetooth connectivity
The Hero Passion Pro 110 becomes the latest in a line of Hero products to get an XTec variant. The Passion XTec drum variant comes in at Rs 74,590 and the disc trim costs Rs 78,990 (ex-showroom Delhi). These updates come in at a premium of Rs 3,770 and Rs 5,170 over their respective regular variants.
Much like the Splendor XTec we tested last month, the Passion XTec too gets a similar full-digital dash. You can connect your phone to the console via Bluetooth, which in turn displays incoming calls alerts, showing the incoming caller’s name, and SMS notifications. The dash also gets a service reminder, real time mileage indicator and low fuel indicator.

The Passion XTec also becomes the first bike in the segment to get an LED headlight. The H-shaped LED DRL is unique, adding a premium touch to the commuter.
More new bits include a USB charger, engine side stand cutoff switch and a side stand alert. It gets chrome touches here and there as well as rim tapes.
Under the skin, it is the same 110cc motor that makes an honest 9.12PS and 9.79Nm. When we rode the Passion Pro 110 a couple of years ago, we did find the bike to be quite peppy and fun to commute on. It was certainly frugal. And this update will make the bike more appealing to those who are looking at something a little more from their humble commuter.
