The inverted fork and the similar styling as the Karizma XMR 210 suggest that the bike could be the upcoming Karizma XMR 400
Quick News Highlights:
- A patent image of a Hero supersport bike has been leaked
- The hardware and the styling suggests it could be the new Karizma XMR 400
- It is likely to be powered by an all-new 400cc, liquid-cooled engine
Hero MotoCorp is about to launch a bunch of new two-wheelers within the space of a year like the XPulse 210, XPulse 400, Xoom 125R and the Xoom 160. Well, a recent patent image suggests that the Karizma XMR 400 could also be a part of those plans.
The patent image shows a bike with very similar styling to that of the Karizma XMR but due to the presence of an inverted fork and other subtle design tweaks, we think that this could be the upcoming Karizma XMR 400 powered an all-new 400cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. Compared to the 210cc Karizma XMR, the Karizma 400 gets sharp winglet-like design elements under the headlight and the front fairing is a single unit instead of the split-unit on the current bike. The rider seat also looks different.
As far as what we can see in the image, the rest of the bike looks identical to the XMR 210 with the sharp styling and the alloy wheel design is similar as well. The bike was spotted testing some time ago, however as a test mule, the bike was covered with camouflage and looked much bulkier then. The design in the patent image is likely to be the one similar to the production model.
The Karizma has always been Hero MotoCorp’s flagship bike and as such when the Karizma XMR 400 will be launched, it’ll be the manufacturer’s new flagship bike, taking over from the Mavrick 440. As a flagship bike, it is expected to get a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation along with rider aids and other bells and whistles found in feature-packed sub-400cc bikes these days.
The Hero Karizma XMR 400 is expected to be launched sometime in 2026 with a price tag of about Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the likes of the TVS Apache RR 310 and the KTM RC 390.
