The 125cc commuter comes painted in a myriad of colours
Hero MotoCorp launched a new Canvas Black edition for the Super Splendor recently. With the new colour scheme, the 125cc commuter is now available in 6 different paint schemes. What are they? We explain.
Canvas Black edition
The new Canvas Black edition of the Super Splendor features a complete blacked-out bodywork for a stealthy appeal. Moreover, the paint scheme comes in two finishes: gloss and matte. Both finishes skip the sporty graphics found on the other colour schemes of the commuter, giving an all-black look.
Adding to that, the Canvas Black edition gets a 3D logo of the company along with the ‘Super Splendor’ brand, unlike the stickering job found on the other colour variants. While the gloss finish gets the Hero logo on the side rear panel, the matte finish features the 3D logo closer to the fuel tank on the side of the bike. The two bikes also get a blacked-out pillion grab rail.
Glaze Black
In this colourway, the Super Splendor comes dipped in black with red and grey accents and sporty graphics along the body. The red and grey graphics flow from the fuel tank to the rear side panels of the commuter. It also gets a grey colour pillion grab rail.

Dusky Black
Similar to the Glaze Black, the Dusky Black colour, too, comes dipped in black, but instead of the red highlights, this colourway features light grey and dark grey graphics on the bike. It gives a more commuter-friendly appeal to the bike, similar to the Splendor Plus.
Nexus Blue
Following the sporty suite, the Nexus Blue gets a bright blue paint job along with white and grey graphics flowing across the body of the bike. Even the pillion grab rail, bikini fairing and front mudguard get blue treatment, offering a completely classy look.
Heavy Grey
To jazz things up, the Super Splendor comes dipped in a dark grey shade with bright orange accents and graphics spread across the body panels and fuel tank of the bike. This unlikely colour combination stands out and attempts at offering a subtle yet sporty appeal to the 125cc bike.
CB Red
A bright red colour scheme coupled with white and grey graphics makes for a classy and attention-grabbing colour grade. The front mudguard, bikini fairing, and the pillion grab rail all come donning the bright red shade. In our opinion, this is the sportiest shade on the Super Splendor.
The Super Splendor Canvas Black edition is priced at Rs 77,430 for the drum variant and Rs 81,330 for the disc brake variant. All the other variants are priced at Rs 77,200 for the drum brake and Rs 81,100 for the disc unit, all prices ex-showroom Delhi.
