The Hero Xtreme range (Hero Xtreme 160R and Xtreme 200S) has recorded a significant improvement in sales
Hero MotoCorp kicked off the year with a slight hike in sales for most of the models in its lineup. Additionally, the company's Xtreme range has surprised us by achieving overwhelming growth. Take a look at the detailed report here.
The Maestro range and the Destini 125 have witnessed a growth of 6.13 percent and 10.64 percent respectively. Meanwhile, the sales of the Pleasure Plus have gone up by a significant 43.33 percent.
Sales of the commuter motorcycles, such as the HF Deluxe and the Passion Pro have registered a slight growth of 0.72 percent and 5.5 percent respectively. But on the flip side, the sales figures of the popular Splendor Plus has gone down by 5.40 percent. Even in the 125cc segment, the Glamour and the Super Splendor’s sales have dipped considerably by 20.25 percent and 29.09 percent respectively. The TVS Raider’s arrival could be one of the reasons for the impact in sales.
The month-on-month sale of the Hero Xtreme range has gone up by a healthy 64.71 percent while the company's ADV, the XPulse 200, has performed 15.49 percent better than December 2021.
In related news, Hero has recently started accepting bookings for the second batch of XPulse 200 4V, while the company also seems to be all set to roll out an electric two-wheeler by March 2022. The company has also recently collaborated with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to set up charging infrastructure across the country for electric two-wheelers.
