Hitting the Apex

Although not in India yet, the never ending high-octane fight for world domination among six of the fastest racers of all time is soon to release. No their not racing live but they’ve made a movie. Award winning actor and MotoGP fan Brad Pitt has produced this adrenalin pumping movie called - Hitting The Apex. Director Mark Neale, the man behind previous MotoGP films Faster and Fastest teams up with Pitt to show the inside story of six fighters.

Narrated by Brad Pitt, Hitting the Apex is the inside story of six of the fastest motorcycle racers of all time and of the fates that awaited them at the peak of the sport. It’s the story of what is at stake for all of them: all that can be won, and all that can be lost. The film portrays the intense rivalry between riders and camaraderie that can exist in top level professional sport.

The extreme competition between Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa; the friendship between Rossi and rising star Marco Simoncelli. And the phenomenal rise of the young rookie Marc Marquez and his attempt to become the fastest and most brilliant rider of them all. The Apex also brings you exclusive interviews and new insights, going behind the scenes and inside the minds of some of the sport’s biggest stars.

Hitting The Apex is releasing in cinemas from September 2 in the United Kingdom, we sure do hope it comes to India soon too. But if not, it’s going to be available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD on September 7.
