The bike now retails at Rs 2,41,989
- The CB300R was launched in India earlier this year at Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
- Honda offers the bike in India via the CKD route.
- The neo-retro styled bike managed to outsell the CBR250R in terms of sales in June 2019.
The Honda CB300R has received a small bump in price which pushes its cost from the earlier 2.41 lakh to Rs 2,41,989 (ex-showroom Delhi), an increment of Rs 989. Honda launched the neo-retro styled CB300R in India earlier this year at a price of Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Following this, the bike was sold out for the next three months thanks to an overwhelming response from enthusiasts.
While it only managed 40 units in the month of May, the CB300R almost doubled this number in June by selling 80 units. Granted, that’s comparatively low compared to its rivals in the sub-400cc segment, but the bike has managed to surpass the CBR250R in terms of sales in the same month. That’s quite commendable considering the CB300R is priced on the higher side of the spectrum.
The CBR250R’s dwindling sales can be attributed to its dated looks, premium pricing (Rs 1.95 lakh) and minimal changes over the years. On the flip side, for just Rs 46,600 more you could opt for the newer CB300R which features an all-new design, a bigger engine, LED lights, a fully-digital instrument cluster and premium underpinnings compared to the CBR250R. The Honda CB300R is only available via the brands Wing World Dealers.
All prices ex-showroom, Delhi*
