Honda Showcases head-turner Neowing Concept at Auto Expo 2016

The auto expo 2016 is also a platform for the automakers to showcase their future technologies and concepts and one amazing concept that enjoyed a lot of attention during the show was Honda’s Neowing Concept. Well! This concept is unique as it is an unconventional three-wheeled bike but with an amazing sporty appeal. This is not the first time that this concept was displayed at a motor show, in fact, it has been there at the Tokyo Motor Show last year. The 'Wing' badge, established by the iconic Gold also features on the Neowing making it truly an asset to flaunt.

As already discussed this Honda Neowing is a trike motorcycle featuring a couple of wheels up front and a single one at the back. The extra wheel helps in improving the cornering capabilities and enhancing the stability at low speed. If you are wondering why we are calling it a two wheeler even when it has three, well it is because the concept has been styled to emphasize the mechanical nature of a two-wheeled motorcycle only.

Coming to the power mill, the Neowing is powered by a hybrid powertrain featuring a horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine with electric motors. Though the maker has not disclosed the details of the power figures offered by the engine, we expect this Neowing concept will get a power mill with good torque and throttle response. Linkage mechanism which is developed by Honda for the front wheel of Neowing is expected to be somewhat like the one seen on the Piaggio MP3.

This was just a concept and Honda has not shared any information regarding putting Neowing into production so we just hope that this concept does see the light some day.
