Honda is all set to launch its new 100cc motorcycle today. Likely to be called the Shine 100, this commuter would be the Japanese bikemaker’s answer to the supremacy of the Hero Splendor Plus.
Honda has released multiple teasers of its upcoming 100cc motorcycle. The strong emphasis on affordability in every teaser suggests that this bike could be the most affordable Honda two-wheeler in India yet. Here’s a detailed price analysis of the upcoming Honda Shine 100.

Currently, Honda’s most affordable bike is the CD110 Dream at Rs 71,133, whereas the prices of the Hero Splendor Plus start at Rs 72,076. That said, the 100cc segment’s most affordable offering is the Hero HF100 priced at Rs 56,968 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). Another competitor to the Shine 100 could be the Bajaj Platina 100.
