Is Bajaj Re-launching NS 200 with FI engine?

The FI variant of Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is currently under testing as it awaits its relaunch in early 2016. Bajaj had stopped the production of this bike for a while due to heavy demand of its other models, Pulsar RS 200 and Pulsar AS (200 & 150). Bajaj will also work on expanding the manufacturing operations to bring a re-modelled engine of 200 NS, as the bike is highly demanded in both Indian and International markets.

Bajaj is already exporting fuel injected Pulsar NS 200 in Turkey without any change in technical specifications. The 199.5cc fuel injected, a liquid-cooled engine produces a maximum power of 24.16 hp and a peak torque of 18.6Nm. As reported, the upcoming model will have dual-tone color schemes and relocated pulsar logo. Also, the bike will be priced between the price tags of AS 200 and RS 200 and will be cheaper than the KTM Duke 200.

Bajaj Pulsar has always remained a star performer in the Bajaj’s product portfolio. The manufacturer has added two more variants to the Pulsar range which previously consisted of Pulsar 200NS only. Named as Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, RS 200 and 200AS, the motorcycles belong to naked sports and adventure sports class respectively. It's sportier version - Pulsar RS200 and adventure sport - Pulsar 200AS is available in the Indian market for sale. All of these bikes houses a 199.5cc, four-stroke, liquid- cooled, fuel-injected engine, that develops power of 23.52 PS and torque of 18.3 Nm.
