Is your Royal Enfield Among the 1,500-odd Bikes Parked at BOBMC Rider Mania 2016 This Weekend?

Wanderlust MC is all set to give Nagpur its second bout of ‘RM fever’ with the BOBMC Rider Mania 2016, this weekend. Social media is awash with posts on the hashtag #Bobmcridermania2016 about riders from all corners of the country making their way to the venue. This is the Orange city-based club’s second time hosting the event - the first being in 2007. BOBMC, the Brotherhood of Bulleteers Motorcycling Consortium, has been actively pursuing the birth and sustenance of motorcycling culture among Royal Enfield owners in the country since 2002.

The theme (or should we say battle-cry!) for this edition of the event is ‘Fullpower’, and with over 1,500 confirmed registrations, it would be a surprise if it turns out to be anything but. The Wanderlust MC, founded by Nagpur-based Anukaran Singh and Nikhil Shah in 2004, has been running with all hands on deck at the moment to prepare for what could be the largest turnout at a BOBMC event yet. The BOBMC comprises as many as 76 clubs from across India, and the 2016 event is pegged to witness 1,534 participants over the three days. 

The last edition of the event in 2015 was hosted by the Road Survivors club from Chandigarh, and had over 800 rider participants.
