The Japanese auto giant Kawasaki has unveiled its new advanced innovative Supercharged Inline Four engine at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show. Technical details and specifications of the engine have yet to be announced. However, it is expected to be the most powerful engine among all production motorcycles, the company might use it in the world's most powerful production motorcycle Ninja ZX-14R. Currently, the motorcycle produces 210bhp using a 1441cc naturally aspirated inline four.
Using a supercharger, a 600cc engine can perform like a 1000cc normally aspirated engine, while saving the fuel, space and weight. Currently, Kawasaki uses surcharged mills in its jet skies. One of them is Jet Ski Ultra 300X, which uses a 1498cc, Supercharged and intercooled, inline four. Using a digital Fuel Injection with 60mm throttle bodies, this engine develops 310bhp of power.
