Feel Keeway’s most affordable bike is still too expensive for what it offers? Here’s what else you can get for around the same price
Keeway has launched its first retro bike, the SR125, in India at a premium price tag of Rs 1,19,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). However, if you aren’t impressed by this scrambler-esque retro bike, you can get all of these two wheelers in the same price range:
Bajaj Pulsar N160 - Price: Rs 1,27,853 (ex-showroom Delhi)
The latest addition to Bajaj’s potent Pulsar family, the Pulsar N160, is a power-packed 160cc motorcycle that puts a lot of bikes in its segment to shame. Its 164.82cc air-oil-cooled engine makes 16PS and 14.65Nm, and proved to be quite sweet on our tests. Interestingly, it is also the most affordable bike with dual channel ABS, making it the perfect choice for those who want a capable bike for their commutes and occasional weekend rides.
Yamaha FZS-FI - Rs 1,21,400 (ex-showroom Delhi)
Now at almost the same price, you can opt for the Yamaha FZS-FI, which will not only give you the Yamaha badging, but also a bigger mill of 149cc. Apart from Bluetooth connectivity and single-channel ABS, the FZS-FI is known for being a rather comfortable bike, making it great for city riding. Additionally, it has the sales numbers to support that claim as it is one of the best selling Yamaha bikes in India.
Aprilia SR 125 - Rs 1,20,000 (ex-showroom Delhi)
Looking for a sporty scooter? Well, in this price bracket you can opt for the Aprilia SR 125. The no nonsense sporty scooter looks pretty rad with its graphics, and also packs a potent mill. While the Keeway produces 9.83PS, the Aprilia makes slightly more at 9.92PS.
TVS iQube Electric S - Rs 1,15,050 (ex-showroom Delhi including Fame II subsidy)
The only premium electric scooter alternative that you can buy in this price range is the TVS iQube Electric S. Additionally, the e-scooter packs a lot of geeky features, impressive real-world range and is also pretty great when it comes to ride and handling. Check out all that we like and dislike about the e-scooter here.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V - Rs 1,25,290 (ex-showroom Delhi)
If performance is what you are looking for, then you shall not go wrong with this Apache. It comes loaded with features including turn-by-turn navigation, an attractive design, segment-leading powerful engine with segment-first riding modes, and nimble handling.
