But the price reduction is only for a limited period of time
[UPDATE: We've received an official word from KTM that the 250 Adventure will retail at Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom) from July 14 to August 31 2021.]
Recently, KTM hiked the prices of its entire lineup by a big margin, except for the 250 Adventure that got a minor increment. Now, the Austrian bikemaker has slashed prices of the 250 Adventure by a massive Rs 25,000. The official announcement is yet to be made but our dealer sources have confirmed that the bike is currently on sale for about Rs 2.30 lakh and Rs 2.65 lakh, ex-showroom and on-road price Delhi, respectively.
However, there’s a catch. This offer is valid only from July 14 to August 31 2021. After that, prices would go up once again to the earlier Rs 2.55 lakh or even higher. We feel KTM has done this to better the sales of its baby ADV and existing stocks.

After the revision, the KTM 250 Adventure costs just Rs 2,000 more than its naked counterpart, the 250 Duke. In comparison, the 250 ADV offers improved off-road capabilities, a bigger and better laid-out instrument cluster, a bigger fuel tank, and dual-purpose tyres.
The price difference between its arch-rival, the BS6 Royal Enfield Himalayan, is now around Rs 20,000, which the 250 ADV kind of justifies with better equipment, more power, and premium design.
