According to our sources, the KTM 250 Adventure is likely to be launched either by the end of this month or in early December. The KTM 250 Adventure will be powered by the KTM 250 Duke-derived single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, churning out 30PS and 24Nm. It is paired to a 6-speed transmission for comfortable highway touring. We hope the gear ratios are revised to suit the ADV’s demeanour instead of being carried over straight off the naked bike. Underpinnings include an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock, both from WP. The bike will feature disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.
Notable features include a full TFT instrument cluster (likely with optional smartphone connectivity), halogen headlamp with LED DRL, tail lamp and indicators, and KTM 390 Adventure-like styling and ergonomics.
Expect KTM to price the 250 Adventure at around Rs 2.40 lakh, comfortably slotting it between the spartan Royal Enfield Himalayan and the premium BMW G 310 GS.
