They both look ready to take on our broken roads
The Rally and Enduro versions of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure have been spotted testing in Europe. The former, especially, looks like what the bike should’ve always been.
The Adventure Rally variant looks like a quintessential rally bike with a raised front fender, vertical twin-pod LED headlamp, fat inverted fork and loads of suspension travel. The Enduro model, on the other hand, boasts of a dirt bike-esque design with a rugged yet minimal look, tall and flat seat along with dual-purpose tyres. It also gets a halogen headlamp and the instrument console is likely to be a simpler one as well.
The most significant update can be seen on the hardware. Unlike the current KTM 390 Adventure that rides on a 19-inch front alloy wheel, the spied test mules were running on a 21-inch spoke wheel at the front. Given that its lack of easy off-road capability was the major gripe we had with the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure when we rode it, this update sounds promising, something that we’d love to see in India. So, will it come here? It will, but when and in what form, only time will tell. So stay tuned to BikeDekho for more information as it comes along.
