KTM Duke 125 soon to bash Indian roads

KTM Duke 125, the most awaited bike is soon to bash the Indian roads with its glorious and amazing looks. The astonishing bike is produced in collaboration of KTM and the famous two-wheeler producer of India, the Bajaj. The captivating bike from the company is really impressive and is sure to behold the view of its audience until it disappears from their front. The bike is planned to be produced at the Bajaj's Chakan plant, Pune. The first display of the bike took place at the International Bike Show, the Milan in the year 2009. The new KTM Duke 125 possess complete sporty and aggressive looks.

The outstanding bike is packed with an engine capacity of 125 cc with dual exhaust mufflers. The KTM Duke 125 is to be equipped with liquid cooling technology with a DOHC fuel injection and four valve type of engine that generates an eloquent power of 15 bhp@10500 rpm and a beating torque of 1.22kgm at 8000 rpm. The 6 Speed Transmission present in the bike assures the rider with easy shifting of gears as and when required.

The suspension system for the bike is made to absorb maximum shocks, being designed by WP and made with Endurance in India. Also the braking system attached to the bike is sound and efficient as it is of Brembo type and is being manufactured by Bybre in India. The front brake of the stunning and consummating bike is a disc brake of 280 mm units, while the rear is of 230 mm unit.

The elegant KTM Duke 125 possess broad stylish wheels that protects the rider in the event of off-roading and also minimizes the risk of skidding in the slippery surface. The size of the wheel at the front is 110/70 and at the rear is 150/60 and both the wheels are 17 inches broad. With all these features the bike weighs 118 kg.
