KTM Duke 125 tested in Europe and coming in India

KTM Duke 125 which is co-produced bike by India based Bajaj and Austria based KTM has been tested at European roads and now ready to foray in India very soon. The bike, KTM Duke 125 was announced last year for Indian market and being most anticipated here. To provide same as Yamaha's stylish bikes for Indian youth, Bajaj had tied-up with KTM which is off road motorcycle.

KTM Duke 125 has been manufactured in Chakan, Pune by Bajaj Auto and KTM which has 125cc engine and stylish body design that enhances the lifestyle of young riders, plus provides pure riding fun and make a style statement and enjoy the state-of-the-art technology. Bajaj Auto has delivered almost 2,000 units of the bike to Europe.
 

The Bajaj-KTM 125 Duke is undoubtedly one of the coolest bike which will soon be launched in Indian market with expected price tag of Rs. 100,000 which is same as 223cc engine equipped Hero Honda Karizma. The bike has handling, riding comfort, smooth clutch and gearbox which ensure to provide excellent performance in the segment.
 

This ultra cool bike attracts everybody which is equipped with a liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine of 125cc. This engine of the bike is capable of generating maximum power of 15 bhp at 10,500 rpm and top torque of 8.9 lb-ft at 8000 rpm. It has a six speed transmission gear box same as Honda CBR 250R. The top speed of its Indian version would be 80 kmph while European version has top speed of around 130 kmph. Its drawback is fuel efficiency; it delivers mileage of around 30 kmpl but fuel tank capacity is 13 litres with 2.5 litres of reserve. KTM Duke 125 has an inverted 43mm fork at front and rear shock while a Brembo single disc brake is available at front wheel. The bike weighed 118 kg and comes in light weight entry-level sports bike category.
