KTM set to arrive in India at the Auto Expo

Auto Expo is defintely the best platform to showcase the upcoming vehicles among the audiences; most of the producers are giving the proofs now. It is because of this that every next day one or two auto manufacturing industries are announcing launch of their new vehicle(s) during Auto Expo, which is to be held at New Delhi in 2012. Now there are reports that reveal that legendary auto manufacturing company Bajaj Auto’s is also speculating to unveil KTM Duke 200 in Indian during Auto Expo 2012.

The upcoming superbike KTM Duke 200 from Bajaj is speculated to be the tough contender for Yamaha R15 and Honda CBR 250R, dominating the Indian bike market in 200 to 250 cc segment of bikes.  As far as price of KTM Duke 200 in India is concerned it is expected to fall in range of Rs 1.1 to 1.3 lakhs. KTM is an auto giant from Austria that has entered in joint venture with Bajaj Auto to launch KTM Duke series of bikes in Indian market. It is expected that KTM Duke 200 will chalk out the maximum power of 25 bhp at 10,000 rpm and torque of 19 Nm at 8000 rpm. The aluminum engine integrated in bike will be supported by six-speed gear box.

The variant of KTM Duke 200 that will be showcased by Bajaj Autos in Auto Expo is going under test ride and is reported to deliver superior performance while turning on different turns because of light weight and sustainability. It has efficiency to achieve the maximum speed of 140 kmph but after reaching the speed of 135 kmph the rev limiter controls the fuel supply. The launch of KTM Duke 200 in Indian bike market will mark the rise of new star in galaxy of bikes prevailing in Indian bike market.
