Matter Energy’s Liquid-Cooled Electric Motorcycle To Debut In November 2022

It will be the first made-in-India liquid-cooled e-motorcycle

Matter Energy, an Ahmedabad-based EV startup, has announced that it will be launching India’s first liquid-cooled electric motorcycle this November. 

The EV startup has also announced that the patents of its two products – the Matter Drive 1.0 motor and a Dual Mode converter – have been approved. 

Matter Energy claims the Matter Drive 1.0, a liquid-cooled radial flux electric motor, is a lightweight motor with optimum torque delivery. The interesting bit is that in this motor, different parts can be cooled simultaneously resulting in better performance, safety and efficiency.

Moving on, the Dual Mode converter is essentially a converter that enables charging of EVs via single-phase or three-phase AC power source using lesser components. Matter claims this can possibly increase the battery’s energy density and efficiency while also keeping the cost of the product low.

Apart from this, Matter is also working on more patents with regards to drivetrain, power pack, charger, controls and other similar technologies.
