The ADV-inspired scooter retails for Rs 1.70 lakh in Malaysia
Malaysian two-wheeler brand, WMoto, has taken the wraps off its entry-level ADV-inspired scooter, the Xtreme 150i. While it certainly looks purposeful, does it offer enough to succeed in the Indian market? Let’s find out.
Staying true to its ADV purpose, the WMoto Xtreme 150i features a rugged design and a tall go-anywhere stance. Its styling is similar to the Honda X-ADV. You get a LED headlight with DRLs and an adjustable windscreen.

The Xtreme 150i is powered by a 149.3cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor, churning out 12.3PS and 11.8Nm. For reference, the Aprilia SXR 160’s motor makes 10.9PS and 11.6Nm.
It features an LCD instrument console, a USB charging port, and a 12V outlet. For better range while touring, it gets quite a large 11-litre fuel tank.
It’s suspended on a telescopic front fork and an adjustable monoshock. The Xtreme 150i’s braking hardware consists of disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. It tips the scales at 143kg dry.
In Malaysia, the WMoto Xtreme 150i retails at Rs 1.70 lakh. At such a high price tag, it’s unlikely to appeal to Indian customers or enter our market at all. If you are planning to buy an ADV motorcycle, check this out.
