This man’s 110cc Jupiter redefines the term ‘mobile entertainment’

Personalising the cabin of your car is almost a ritual, isn’t it? Dedicate space for a small shrine, get a set of good speakers to match your infotainment screen, and maybe even a nice phone holder for that head-up display feel. These are great mood lifters, especially in chock-a-block traffic. That said, it can leave us motorcyclists suffering from some major FOMO looking at you through your car window. Maybe that’s what inspired this TVS Jupiter 110 owner from Ahmedabad to modify his scooter and recreate an amphitheatre of entertainment on two wheels.

First and foremost, we do not encourage such alterations as they are simply unsafe for the road, not to mention highly illegal. Your safety should be your priority. Having said that, let’s have a quick look at the visible mods on this humble 110cc scooter.

This man has managed to rig up an entertainment space so flamboyant, we reckon the number of used Honda Goldwings in the market could go up. Paired to his smartphone, that’s mounted on a phone holder, are two aftermarket speakers mounted behind the front apron of the scooter. Leg room is for losers! We’re sure even Sunny Deol, whose movie the rider was watching, approves of his love for cinema. The concept is profound and possibilities endless. Imagine, he can catch the latest football and cricket scores while stranded in traffic, track his food delivery status and so much more! If only manufacturers thought of adding such features to their scooters too. Genius! Also visible is a thermos holder for a hot cuppa on the go and what appears to be a small date and time display device mounted over his instrument cluster. This man sure knows how to plan for a road trip!

But on a serious note, such radical alterations, although cool and wacky, can be very distracting on the road and will affect your awareness while riding. Blaring music from speakers can be pretty annoying for others and extremely risky for you while navigating our tricky traffic conditions. All we can say is, thank God for that little shrine perched above his speakers; we hope it keeps him safe on the road!
