MRF Race 2011 to take place in Greater Noida

India's new International Circuit of Greater Noida is just ready to be inaugurated with the racing vehicles and their riders. The new Jaypee Circuit is supposed to conduct the final races of Formula One Grand Prix which is been scheduled for October 29Th to October 30Th of 2011. The Racing Circuit of Greater Noida constructed recently will definitely prove India's potential to the world. Earlier it was the Common Wealth Games held in India in the month of October 2010 and now it is the Jaypee Racing Circuit.
As per the information received regarding the Formula One Grand Prix race, it is known that first six rounds of the race would be held in Chennai at the Madras Sports Trust track over two weekends i.e. from February 5Th to 6Th and February 12Th to 13Th and the rest two rounds will take place at the new racing Circuit of Greater Noida, near New Delhi.
The Managing Director of MRF Ltd., Arun Mammen, enquired that the company has built a total of 12 Formula cars which are to participate the race. The company last year also produced 12 new Formula cars that became part of the Grand Prix. The company plans to offer the new cars to the racer with a total payable fee of Rs 15 lakh that includes car rental, service, fuel, tyres and transport costs. MRF, the company, plans to make these cars available to the racers on an “arrive and drive” basis. Under the scheme “early bird”, a driver if confirms his entry by December 20Th, he will be provided with air tickets and accommodation by the car manufacturer and the last date of registration is fixed to be 31st of December 2010.
A total price money of $1,00,000 with $50,000 is to be awarded to the winner of the Grand Prix Race 2011 and an amount of $30,000 and $20,000 is been fixed for the second and third position.
