New Triumph Motorcycle coming to India on 18th September

Get ready to block the date of September 18 as a new Triumph Motorcycle heads towards India. In company words, “We are adding another member to our family!!”. It Indicates that the company is going to launch a new motorcycle this month, which has not been specified yet. However, we are expecting one of following models- Thunderbird LT, Tiger Sport or Trophy. So, lets take a brief introduction of these bikes.

 

Triumph Thunderbird LT

 

Triumph Thunderbird LT is a tour concentrated model of the cruiser- Thunderbird Storm, which is already available in India. The bike is powered by the 1699cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine, which delivers 94bhp of maximum power at 5,400rpm along with a peak torque of 146Nm at 2,750rpm. Apart from the standard features of the Thunderbird, the LT model gets a big wind screen, detachable 21-L leather saddle bag, auxiliary positioning lamps and pillion back support.

 

Triumph Tiger Sport

 

Triumph Tiger Sport is a semi faired version of the adventure tourer- Tiger Explorer, which is also available in India. The bike gets semi-fairing with a wind screen visor and split pattern headlight having 3 lamp units on each side. The bike houses a 1050cc, liquid-cooled, inline-4 mill, which churns out raw power of 125bhp at 9,400rpm and the torque delivery goes up to 104Nm at 4,300rpm. Other features of the bike like ABS, detailed instrumentation, key coded immobilizer, dynamic luggage system, etc. remain similar to the Explorer XC model.

 

Triumph Trophy

 

Trophy is a full faired sport tourer offered by the Triumph in two different variants- Standard and SE (Special Edition) in international market . The bike comes packed with all the advance features available in the market like Electronically adjustable wind shield and headlamps, linked ABS, Traction Control, Cruise Control, detailed instrument cluster, dynamic luggage system, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and Immobilizer. Propelling the bike is 1215cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, inline-3 engine, which is capable to make 134bhp of top power at 8,900rpm, while the torque output goes up to 120Nm coming at 6,450rpm.
