Have a look at India’s most affordable 125cc bike
Bajaj has silently launched the CT 125X in India at Rs 71,345 (ex-showroom Delhi). The commuter is the most affordable 125cc bike in India and rivals the likes of Hero Super Splendor and Honda Shine.
The Bajaj CT 125X adopts retro styling with a circular headlight, but also gives hints of ruggedness with the belly pan and modernity with a V-shaped LED DRL on the front cowl.
Following the commuter look, the bike gets minimal body panels and simple styling. That said, Bajaj has given the CT 125X a slightly sporty appeal with knee pads on the fuel tank and sporty graphics in three different colours: red, blue and green.
When it comes to the powertrain, the CT 125X gets a 124.4cc air-cooled engine which makes 10.9PS and 11Nm max and is paired to a five-speed gearbox.
Like every other commuter, the Bajaj CT 125X features a telescopic fork but with gaiters and dual shock absorber suspension setup. The design of the rear right footrest on the bike doubles down as a saree guard.
As for stopping power, the 125cc motorcycle features a 130mm drum brake setup at both ends on the lower variant. But, it does get an optional 240mm disc up front.
Similar to its rivals, the CT 125X rolls on stylish black alloy wheels which are 17 inches in diameter. The wheels are wrapped in tubeless 80/100-section tyre up front and a 100/90-section rubber at the rear.
Being an affordable commuter, the CT 125X gets a twin-pod analogue instrument cluster housing the speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. It also features an USB charging socket.
Even though the Bajaj CT 125X is the most affordable 125cc bike, it is still loaded fairly well with features, not to mention a five-speed gearbox.
