The new Chetak will most likely feature a brand new, redesigned chassis with the battery pack repositioned beneath the floorboard, freeing up additional underseat storage. Along with the new battery, we might also see a slight improvement in range, although not drastically.

Design

While specific details about the updated Bajaj Chetak are few, we anticipate that the new model will retain the same design language as the current version. The Chetak’s existing styling appeals to a broad consumer base. However, Bajaj may introduce slight design updates, such as fresh paint schemes and new branding elements.

Pricing

The current Bajaj Chetak is available in three variants - 2903, 3202, and 3201. The prices range from Rs 99,998 to Rs 1,38,943 (ex-showroom) right now. We can expect a slight increase in the price.

Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Ather Rizta, the TVS iQube, and the recently launched Vida V2, the Bajaj Chetak lags behind in one aspect - the underseat storage space. While almost all its rivals offer over 30 liters of storage, the Chetak has a modest 22 liters of boot space.
