The company has even delivered a few e-scooters within 24 hours
Ola Electric has sent out an email guaranteeing 14-day delivery for its S1 Pro electric scooter to potential customers. The EV maker has also claimed that a few customers have got their e-scooter within 24 hours.
The purchase window for the Ola S1 Pro opened last week and with it, the company hiked the price of the e-scooter by Rs 10,000. The company had also announced that it will be giving Ola S1 Pro for free to those who manage to clock over 200km on a single charge.

In January 2022, Ola Electric had announced that it is ramping up production to build 1000 scooters a day, and the company seems to be on the right path. However, the S1 Pro is still suffering from glaring quality issues, both big and small. After the fire accident and cases where the EV’s ‘Reverse’ mode got randomly engaged, there have been incidents of the front single-sided telescopic fork breaking.
While the speedy delivery of the Ola Electric S1 Pro is certainly good news to prospects, it should not be at the price of compromised quality. The company has been working on fixing the issues with the scooter’s ‘Reverse’ mode and claims that the MoveOS 2.0 update will fix that.
Meanwhile, Simple Energy has announced that it has delayed deliveries of the Simple One to improve its quality. So, if you are looking for alternatives to the Ola, for now, you can choose between the Ather 450X, TVS iQube S and the Bajaj Chetak.
