One of the impressive showcases among the three Peugeot scooters at 2016 Auto expo is the Django. The 125cc scooter is built on a classic theme and gets some impressive features like a transparent windscreen and twin dual-toned seats. The company remained silent on whether it would be launching this scooter in India or not.
The Django is powered by a 124.6cc, carbureted, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 10bhp. The front receives 40mm hydraulic forks along with a single shock absorber at the rear end to carry out suspension duties. For braking, the Django has been equipped with dual disc brakes viz. 200mm up front and 190mm at the rear. These are further linked to Combined braking system (CBS) that offers safety while applying brakes. The vehicle rolls on 120/70-12 tyres at both ends to offer good on-road handling and stability.
The company has equipped the scooter with two glove compartments, with 12V plug for mobile charging on the one. The dashboard is semi-digital and the machine is added with LEDs on the guide lights and the tail section. The seat is twin-saddle and the rider can choose any one from three colour options for this. The company also offers various other customizing options for the scooter. Stay tuned for more updates on the ongoing Auto Expo!
