The new Moon White scheme seen on the smaller Pulsars has now made its way to the 220F
If there’s one thing that Bajaj loves, it’s colour schemes. The brand is constantly tweaking the paint jobs and graphic options on its motorcycles, sometimes in desperate attempts to keep ageing models looking fresh and relevant. This time around, the ageing model in question is the Pulsar 220F, which, like its smaller Pulsar siblings, has received new colour options for 2021.
The funky Moon White colour scheme that recently broke cover on the Pulsar 180 has now also been spotted on the 220F, where it looks even nicer, thanks to the latter’s larger fairing area. Included in this new colour option is a faux carbon fibre wrap on the side panels and along the centre of the front fender, which doesn’t really gel all that well with the white, red, and black paintwork on the rest of the bike.
Along with this, the 220F also receives a Matte Black colour option for the 2021 model year, but the name isn’t entirely accurate. Most of the body panels in this black and red scheme have a gloss finish, and it’s only the centre of the fuel tank that features a dull matte finish. Like the Moon White option, this one also gets fake carbon fibre finish on the side panels and front fender.
There is also a third new colour option that hasn’t yet broken cover, but we expect it to surface soon, so stay tuned. As far as pricing is concerned, there’s no official word from Bajaj yet, but a slight premium for these new colours won’t come as a surprise.
