Take a look at the specifications and features of this motorcycle, which has started arriving at Chinese dealerships

  • Compared to the QJ Motor Race 250, the Sai 350 gets a bigger engine, dual front discs, and an aluminium swingarm.
  • The parallel-twin engine makes 36.7PS and 31Nm.
  • Features all-LED lighting, TFT instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS as standard.

Benelli’s sister company QJ Motor had showcased the Sai 350 at this year’s Beijing Motor Show and now, the motorcycle has started reaching Chinese dealerships. Take a look at the features and specifications of the motorcycle:

The QJ Motor Sai 350 is powered by a 353cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, churning out a modest 36.7PS at 9000rpm and 31Nm at 7000rpm. In comparison, the TVS Apache RR 310 makes 33.9PS and 27.3Nm. These numbers aren’t too far off even though the RR 310 is a single-cylinder motorcycle. But unlike the RR 310, this one doesn’t get any fancy riding modes.

The bike is built on premium underpinnings, such as an inverted front fork, a rear monoshock with an aluminium swingarm, twin 250mm discs up front with axial calipers, and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS as standard. Comparatively, the quarter-litre version gets a single front disc and a box-section swingarm.

The bike’s twin LED headlamp design is eerily reminiscent of the BMW S 1000 RR, whereas the high-set scooped tail panels reminds us of the Yamaha R15 V3.0. But overall, the motorcycle looks properly sporty. Its design complements the clip-on handlebars that offer a slightly aggressive riding stance. Other noteworthy features include an LED tail lamp and indicators and a full-colour digital instrument cluster with dual display modes, Bluetooth connectivity with smartphone screen projection function, and tyre pressure display.

QJ Motor is unlikely to launch this motorcycle in India. Having said that, we can’t help imagine the impact it would have on its Indian rivals, the TVS Apache RR 310, KTM RC 390, and the Kawasaki Ninja 300. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
