Quarter Litre Yamaha R25 showcases at the Auto Expo

The Japanese auto major, Yamaha has unveiled its Quarter liter motorcycle- R25 at the Indian Auto Expo 2014. The full faired sportbike has got all the features of a track machine along with a power full parallel twin. Yamaha will launch this bike in India as well along with the other global markets soon.
Yamaha R25 has been developed with the philosophy of making a daily purpose superbike. Taking inspiration from MotoGP track machine, the bike sports a 249cc, liquid cooled, parallel-twin with 4-valves per head and DOHC configuration. Using electronic fuel injection, it churns out a maximum power of 30bhp. A six-speed transmission is there on the bike with claw type shift lever to manage the torque on the rear wheel.
R25 gets attractive design features, some of which are carry forward from its sibling YZF-R15.
