RV400’s baby brother is here with a more affordable price plan!
- The RV300 gets a smaller battery compared to the RV400.
- It gets slightly different underpinnings compared to the top-spec variant.
- Buyers can buy the bike via the company’s ‘My Revolt Plan’.
Revolt has not just blown us away with the several segment-first features it is offering with the RV400 and RV300, but it has also unveiled a whole new way motorcycle purchasing experience. To buy RV300, all you have to do is pay Rs 2,999 per month for 37 months. Now, we know that you have a lot of questions related to this, and for that, we have done a detailed story on the price, which you can read here. However, for a simpler explanation, think of it is as to how you pay for your Netflix subscription. Moreover, it's the same for the RV400!
The RV300 is essentially a lower-powered variant of the RV400. It is powered by a 1.5kW motor and has a claimed top speed of 65kmph. The RV300 has a smaller 2.7kWh battery, which the company claims will offer a range of 80-150km. The RV400, on the other hand, comes equipped with a 3.24kWh battery that delivers an ARAI-certified range of 156km.

Just like the RV400, the base variant gets an inverted fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking hardware consists of disc brakes at either end with a combined braking system as standard. However, instead of an aluminium swingarm, Revolt has equipped the more affordable variant with a box-section unit. The RV300 gets similar features as its bigger cousin, the RV400. For instance, it LED lights, different ride modes, smartphone connectivity, and more. However, it misses out on keyless ignition.
Bookings for the bike have already commenced in Delhi and Pune for a minimum token amount of Rs 1,000. The company has also launched battery swap stations called Revolt Switch stations, which will offer free battery until 31 December 2019.
