Tattoos are tiny pieces of individuality that can serve as permanent reminders of a life-event, person, or a passion. This makes them quite popular amongst the biker crowd. Some get tattoos to show their solidarity with a group while others do so to set themselves apart.
Getting ‘inked’ may not be new for bikers, but a trio setting out on a ride through 25 cities across the country to tattoo their riding brethren certainly is! Tattoo artist Kishor Sanduptla (29), long-distance rider Sanju Maity (24) and videographer Vishwa Papan (22) have set off from Hyderabad earlier this month on a ride spanning 6,000 miles (9,656 km).
Sanduptla had previously attempted a record for most tattoos in 24 hours. Maity is a member of the Wanderers motorcycle club. They are riding on two Royal Enfield motorcycles - a Classic and a Thunderbird. Not only this, the three are also shooting a YouTube series during the ride.
They began their ride on February 17, and have so far travelled from Hyderabad to Nagpur, to Vizag, to Bhubaneshwar, and have reached Kolkata. We have included their ride schedule as well as a link to their YouTube promo video. We wish the team a safe and fun ride and look forward to meeting them when they ride by the BikeDekho office.
